Energy Management Committee

Mandate:

The Mandates of the committee will include but not limited to: 

• Compile research papers or reports related to energy issues in Kuwait.

• Disseminate all kind of energy regulations and related information to the technical/public community.

• Suggest priorities as far as research and development issues are concerned related to improving energy efficiency, renewable energy, water recycling, and other topics that will help in solving the problem of the increased energy consumption in Kuwait.

• Suggest workshops in energy related issues for the government, industry and private sector.

• Propose guidelines/suggestions to implement energy conservation/management policies.

• To act as a professional liaison with educational, technical and government related institutions, as appropriate to promote energy related issues.
