Mandate:

The Mandates of the committee will include but not limited to: 

• Research Promotion Committee plans to implements programs within the chapter and to generate funds to support ASHRAE research.

• The Research Promotion Committee raises funds locally for the ASHRAE Research Promotion Drive. ASHRAE research projects result in : Technical documents, CD’s, Programs. Standards and codes, Updating and improving of handbooks for the HVAC & Refrigeration industry.

• Endorse research promotion at various special events.

• Encourage individuals and companies to perform research in the air-conditioning and Refrigeration Field.

• Identify the research areas that are of concern to Kuwait

• Establish a library with the latest research publications related to Kuwait
