Mandate:

The Mandates of the committee will include but not limited to: 

• Coordinate dissemination of technical and industry related information to members.

• Promote and administer award programs assigned to this committee by the BOG.

• Encourage an active, informed membership by keeping local, provincial and state governments updated on technical issues.

• Promote the appointment of Local ASHRAE Kuwait Chapter members to local, provincial and state governmental advisory bodies. These members should then help keep the local chapter informed on governmental activities as it relates to ASHRAE.

• Coordinate input to the Society from Kuwait Chapter on standards, publications, handbooks, and position papers/statements.

• Coordinate the chapter refrigeration activities to include refrigeration related PAOE, refrigeration programs, and awards.

• Report of PAOE in accordance with the current Presidential PAOE.

• Promote continuing education activities at the chapter level such as ASHRAE developed programs, post secondary educational programs, and chapter or industry sponsored seminars.

• Liaison with educational, technical and government related groups within ASHRAE, as appropriate, to promote technology transfer to Kuwait Chapter.
